Established Comfort

This was a renovation of a brand new developer apartment that suffered from a common lay out problem. The bedrooms were too big and the living space was small. The blue sculptural wall carves space out of the sleeping areas and returns it to the great room.

Design Tip: Use the same wood for different elements, but differentiate the two with stain. In this project, we used mahogany cabinets with mahogany floors, but used a very dark stain on the cabinets. The range of color creates depth, but the matching grain ties everything together.
