Contemporary Classic
This project combined a studio and a two bedroom apartment to crate a spacious residence for two Manhattan publishing executives. The main challenge was making the bland low ceilinged spaces typical of the post war high rises of the 1960´s and 70´s reflect their vibrant lives.
Design Tip: Turn circulation halls into a series of chambers, each with its own storage purpose. In this apartment we used two chambers for books (His & Hers), and then the third in the center for mail, gloves, hats, and dog leashes.
