Lofts

Casual Comfort

We renovated this loft was renovated to suit the very social lifestyle of its owners. They loved the kind of casual entertaining that is more common on the decks and patios of California than in the dining rooms of New York City. The challenge was to create an indoor space that reflected the friendly down-to-earth style of the residents, and their guests.

Design Tip: Eat-in kitchens can be elegant dining spaces. The idea of a "chefs table" in a restaurant can be translated into the home kitchen. In recent years kitchens have gone from a hidden workrooms to one of the most beautifully detailed spaces in the house. Taking advantage of them for entertaining, is a perfect way to maximize limited space.
