Ben graduated form the architectural program at Cornell University in 1993, and started his career at Gale Associates in Weymouth, Massachusetts. At Gale, Ben specialized in forensic redesign of failed construction systems for government, institutional, and large cooperate clients.
In 1996 Ben joined Margolis and Fishman in Cambridge Massachusetts where he spent the following decade designing and overseeing over half a million square feet of construction. Ben's designs for research and technical clients were part of the transformation of Cambridge into the nation's leading biotechnology center. Ben managed major projects for noted corporate clients including, Alkermes Pharmaceuticals, Cabot Corporation, and Praecis Pharmaceuticals. Ben also has experience with residential development, having done designs all over the northeast for both single family, and townhouse projects.
Ben founded Studio g&a to further pursue his work in the field of individual residential design, and to provide a more dedicated personal level of service to cooperate clients.
